Google’s Android being the hottest mobile operating system, number of Android applications are available in Android market. The Android Market has come a long way since its initial release a couple of years ago. With more than 80,000 apps, including MakeUseOf’s Android app, there’s something out there for everybody. Android is an open source operating system for mobile devices. It is used by thousands of people around the world.
Android Apps Collection. Android is a software stack for mobile devices that includes an operating system, middleware and key applications. The Android SDK provides the tools and APIs necessary to begin developing applications on the Android platform using the Java programming language and uses a modified version of the Linux Kernel. It was initially developed by Android Inc., a firm later purchased by Google, and lately the by Open Handset Alliance.
